Runner Selection

With the wide range of carbides offered by Roetin Industries, no one should go without them. Without carbide runners, a snowmobile has very limited steering capability. With carbides, the rider can install as much steering capability as he wants.

1 - RUNNER SELECTION - Determine how you like to ride.

Trail/Touring Rider
You like to take it easy, enjoy the scenery, ride often in the evening with friends and not be tired at the end? Do you want to use traction studs on your track? You want just enough steering to be comfortable knowing that your sled will go where you want it to go, without pushing.

Use:
Roetin X10-1 Trail Carbides no traction required
Roetin X10-2 Performance Carbides no traction required

Expert/Performance Rider

This riding is faster, over hillier terrain, also on trails and lakes where ice and hard pack will be found. We recommend that you use some traction both to keep your back end from being too loose, and for more aggressive steering. These runners should be used on the medium and high horsepower sleds where more control, under speed, is needed.

Use:
Roetin X-PR1 High Performance Carbides traction recommended

Expert/Extreme Rider
This riding is at the top, for only the most experienced riders. It features high speeds, rough terrain, all different types of surfaces. Any rider with a high horsepower sled who likes to ride hard and fast should be using these carbides. They feature the most aggressive turning and should ALWAYS be used with traction studs.

Use:

Roetin X-PRT Expert Carbides traction required
